                            Swallenia alexandrae (also called Alexandra's Feathergrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the semi-arid regions of Central Asia. It grows in dry, sandy soils and is characterized by its narrow, grey-green leaves and its long, slender inflorescences.
