Rugoloa hylaeica is an easy-to-grow, shade-loving plant that prefers a moist, well-draining soil. It can be propagated from stem cuttings or by division of the rhizomes. To propagate from cuttings, take a stem cutting and place it in a potting mix that is kept moist. The cutting should root in a few weeks.
