                        Description
                        
                            Pappostipa atacamensis (also called 'Atacama Pappostipa', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Poaceae family. It is native to South America, and is found in tropical and subtropical grasslands. It is an annual grass with linear leaves and white flowers.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Pappostipa atacamensis is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks. It is also used in traditional Chinese medicine for treating fever, headache, and diarrhea.

                            Pappostipa atacamensis has white flowers with yellow centers and a sweet scent.
