                        Description
                        
                            Oreochloa elegans (also called Elegant bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the grass family. It is native to China, and is found in forests and grasslands. It grows to a height of 1–2 m, with culms up to 2 cm in diameter.
