                        Description
                        
                            Nassella pampagrandensis (also called Pampagrande Needlegrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It grows in a variety of habitats, from dry, rocky slopes to moist meadows. It has a clumping growth habit and produces long, thin leaves and small, pinkish-purple flowers.
