                        Description
                        
                            Nassella macrotricha (also called Long-awned Needlegrass, among many other common names) is a species of grass in the Poaceae family. It is native to South America and is found in dry grasslands and open woodlands. It has long, stiff, narrow leaves and produces a tall, erect, branched inflorescence with small, yellow-green spikelets.

                            The flower of Nassella macrotricha is yellow in colour and has a tubular shape. The seed is small and round with a black colour.                             Nassella macrotricha is a terrestrial orchid that is native to Central and South America. It can be propagated by division or by seed. It prefers a well-draining, humus-rich soil and should be grown in partial shade.
