                            Megathyrsus infestus (also called Infested Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass species native to Africa and Madagascar. It grows in grasslands, savannas, and woodlands, and can reach heights of up to 1.2 m. It has long, narrow leaves and small, yellowish-green flowers.
