                        Description
                        
                            Macrochloa tenacissima (also called Stiff Couch, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the Mediterranean region, Africa, and the Middle East. It typically grows in sandy soils and is drought tolerant. It has thin, wiry stems and small, narrow leaves.
