Leptochloa ligulata is a warm-season grass native to the southern United States. It is a perennial grass that grows in clumps and can reach a height of up to 4 feet. It prefers full sun and well-drained soils. Propagation is done by seed or division of the clumps. The seed should be planted in the spring and kept moist until germination. Division of the clumps should be done in the spring or fall. The clumps should be divided into smaller pieces and replanted.
