                        Description
                        
                            Leptochloa chloridiformis (also called salt-grass, among many other common names) is a grass native to India and Sri Lanka. It grows to a height of about 1 meter and has narrow, linear leaves and small, yellow-green flowers. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and is often found in tropical forests and woodlands.
