                        Cultivation and Propagation

Lasiacis linearis is a perennial grass that is native to South America. It is a low-growing species that typically grows to a height of 12-18 inches (30-45 cm). It has a rhizomatous root system and can spread quickly. It prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soils. Propagation is usually done by division of the rhizomes or by seed. Seeds should be sown in spring in a sunny location and kept moist until germination occurs.
