                        Cultivation and Propagation

Ischaemum latifolium is a perennial grass native to tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Australia. It prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soils. Propagation is usually done by seed, which should be sown in spring or early summer. The seed should be sown in a shallow furrow and lightly covered with soil. The seedlings should be thinned to about 10 cm apart when they are large enough to handle. The plants can also be propagated by division in early spring.
