Description

Isachne soderstromii (also called Soderstrom's Isachne, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Brazil. It grows up to 0.5 m tall and has linear leaves. It is found in grasslands and meadows.

Cultivation and Propagation

Isachne soderstromii is a fast-growing, perennial grass that can be propagated by seed or division. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and full sun to partial shade. It can be grown in containers or in the ground. To propagate by seed, sow the seeds in a sterile seed-starting mix and keep the soil moist. To propagate by division, dig up the clump and divide it into smaller sections. Plant the sections in a pot with moist soil. Keep the soil moist and the divisions should root in a few weeks.
