                        Description
                        
                            Helictotrichon krischae (also called Barbed Wire Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the Mediterranean region and the Middle East. It typically grows in dry, sandy soils and is often found in disturbed areas, such as roadsides and fields.
