                        Description
                        
                            Geochloa decora (also called Decorated Grass, among many other common names) is a plant species in the family Poaceae. It is a perennial grass, up to 1 m tall, with reddish-brown flowers. It is native to the Americas, from Mexico to Argentina. It grows in grasslands, meadows, and open woodlands.

                            Geochloa decora is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and is also used for erosion control.                             The flower of Geochloa decora is a white, star-shaped flower with five petals. The seed is a small, round, black seed.                             Geochloa decora is a perennial grass that grows in clumps and can reach up to 3 feet in height. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Propagation is done by seed or by division. Seeds should be sown in spring in a well-drained soil mix and kept moist until germination occurs.
