                            Festuca asperella (also called Asper Fescue, among many other common names) is a perennial grass that grows up to 1 m tall. It is native to Europe and is found in dry grasslands and rocky slopes. It is tolerant of dry soils and can tolerate some shade.

                            Festuca asperella is used as an ornamental grass in landscaping and for erosion control.
