                        Description
                        
                            Enteropogon minutus (also called Minute Beardgrass, among many other common names) is a species of grass in the Poaceae family. It is native to the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico. It is found in tropical and subtropical dry forests, tropical and subtropical moist forests, and tropical and subtropical moist montane forests.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Enteropogon minutus is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a forage crop for livestock. It is also used as a soil stabilizer and for erosion control.                        
                     
                                
                                                    
                        Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
                        
                            Enteropogon minutus has small, yellow flowers that bloom in the summer. Its seeds are small, black and oval-shaped.                         Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Enteropogon minutus can be propagated from seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining soil mix and kept moist. Cuttings should be taken from healthy, mature plants and rooted in a moist soil mix. Both methods require bright, indirect light and temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C).
