Cultivation and Propagation

Ehrharta melicoides is a warm-season grass that is easy to grow and propagate. The plant prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil. It can be propagated by seed or division. To propagate by seed, sow the seeds in a prepared seedbed in the spring. To propagate by division, dig up the plant and divide the root mass into smaller sections. Replant the sections in the desired location.
