                        Description
                        
                            Arundinaria tecta (also called Tecta Bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to China. It is a large, clump-forming bamboo with thick, upright culms that can reach heights of up to 10 m (33 ft). It is found in forests, thickets, and along streams in its native range.
