                        Description
                        
                            Apochloa steyermarkii (also called Steyermark's Apochloa, among many other common names) is a species of grass in the genus Apochloa. It is native to South America, and is found in grasslands and meadows.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Apochloa steyermarkii is used as an ornamental plant, as it has attractive foliage and flowers. It is also used in landscaping and as a ground cover in areas where other grasses may not be able to grow.                        
                     
                                
                                                    
                        Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
                        
                            Apochloa steyermarkii has small, yellow flowers that bloom in the summer. The seeds are small, black and oval-shaped.
