                        Cultivation and Propagation

Achnatherum paradoxum is a perennial grass that grows in full sun to part shade. It can be propagated by division or by seed. To propagate by division, separate the rhizomes into sections and replant in a moist, well-drained soil. To propagate by seed, sow the seeds in a moist, well-drained soil in a sunny location. Keep the soil moist until the seedlings are established.
