Description
Wielandia elegans (also called Elegant Wielandia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Arecaceae family. It is native to Central and South America, and is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests. It is a small to medium-sized palm, growing up to 8 m tall, with a trunk up to 8 cm in diameter.
