Phyllanthus rouxii (also called wild eggplant, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to India, Sri Lanka, and other parts of Southeast Asia. It has a rounded crown and a short, crooked trunk. The leaves are simple, alternate, and ovate-lanceolate in shape.
