Description

Phyllanthus amarus (also called Bhuiamla, among many other common names) is a small shrub or herbaceous plant that is native to India, Sri Lanka, and other parts of Southeast Asia. It has a woody stem and small, oval-shaped leaves. It grows in tropical and subtropical climates, usually in moist, shady areas.
