Description

Astrocasia neurocarpa (also called neurocarpous astrocasia, among many other common names) is a species of palm tree native to Central and South America. It is a slow-growing palm with a single trunk that can reach up to 20 m in height. Its leaves are fan-shaped and can reach up to 3 m in length. It is found in tropical rainforests, swamps, and other wet habitats.
