Description
Antidesma jucundum (also called sweet berry, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that is native to China, Japan, and Taiwan. It has leathery, glossy leaves and small, white flowers. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and is often found in open woods, thickets, and along roadsides.

Cultivation and Propagation
Antidesma jucundum is a hardy perennial that can be propagated from seed or cuttings. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate temperatures down to -10°C (14°F). To propagate from seed, sow the seeds in a cold frame in early spring. To propagate from cuttings, take stem cuttings in late spring or early summer and root them in a moist medium.
