Description
Eurya brevistyla (also called Short-style Eurya, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub or small tree with a rounded crown and a spreading habit. It is native to China, Taiwan, and Japan, and is commonly found in forests, thickets, and along stream banks. It has leathery, glossy, dark green leaves and small, white flowers.

Cultivation and Propagation
Eurya brevistyla is a slow-growing shrub that can reach up to 4m in height. It is best propagated from cuttings, as it does not produce viable seed. The cuttings should be taken from the current season's growth and should be planted in a well-drained potting mix. It prefers a sunny position and should be watered regularly during the growing season. Fertiliser should be applied once a year in spring.
