Description
Freycinetia gunungmejensis (also called 'Gunung Mejensis Freycinetia', among many other common names) is a small, climbing shrub that grows up to 1 m tall. It is native to Indonesia, and is found in humid, tropical forests. It has a green stem with a smooth texture, and its leaves are lanceolate to ovate, and are bright green in colour.
Cultivation and Propagation
Freycinetia gunungmejensis is a perennial vine that can be propagated from seed or by division of the rootstock. It prefers a well-drained soil and full sun. It can be propagated by sowing the seeds in a light, sandy soil in late spring or early summer. It can also be propagated by dividing the rootstock in late winter or early spring. It should be planted in a sunny location and watered regularly.
