Sarcotheca ferruginea (also called Ferruginous Sarcotheca, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Gesneriaceae. It is a perennial herb with an erect stem and a woody base. It is native to tropical Africa, Madagascar, and the Mascarene Islands, and it is found in moist forests and grasslands.
