                        Description
                        
                            Castilleja zempoaltepetlensis (also called Zempoaltepetl Indian Paintbrush, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant that grows up to 40 cm in height. It has hairy stems and leaves, and its flowers are usually pink or white. It is native to the western and southwestern United States and northern Mexico, and is found in dry, open habitats, such as prairies and meadows.
