                        Description
                        
                            Castilleja oresbia (also called Oresbia's paintbrush, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Orobanchaceae family. It is native to North America, and is found in dry forests and scrublands. It is an annual herb, growing up to 1 m tall, with red flowers.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Castilleja oresbia is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a cut flower in floral arrangements.                             Castilleja oresbia has yellow to orange-yellow flowers with a white throat. The seeds are small, black and shiny.                             Castilleja oresbia is a perennial herbaceous plant that prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It can be propagated by seed or division.
