Description
Castilleja nivibractea (also called Snowy Bract Paintbrush, among many other common names) is a perennial herb with a woody base and hairy stems. It has bright yellow-orange flowers and is native to the western United States, growing in dry, open habitats such as sagebrush and pinyon-juniper woodlands.
