Description
Oenothera tarijensis (also called Tarahumara Evening Primrose, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to western North America. It has a single, erect stem with yellow flowers and small, linear leaves. It grows in dry, open areas, such as grasslands and scrublands.

Oenothera tarijensis has yellow flowers with four petals and four sepals. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings have long, narrow leaves.
