Oenothera santarii (also called Santarém Oenothera, among many other common names) is a shrub native to tropical Central and South America. It is a small, evergreen shrub with a spreading habit and white flowers. It grows in moist, shady areas, such as rainforests, woodlands, and along stream banks.

Oenothera santarii is a perennial plant native to South America. It is best grown in full sun and well-drained soil. Propagation is best done by seed, which should be sown in spring or early summer. Division of established plants can also be done in spring.
