Description

Oenothera rosea (also called Rose Evening Primrose, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to the southwestern United States. It typically grows to a height of 30–60 cm (12–24 in) and has a sprawling growth habit. Its leaves are lanceolate and its flowers are yellow. It prefers dry, sandy soils and is often found in deserts and other arid regions.
