                        Description
                        
                            Syringa oblata (also called Oblate Lilac, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub that typically grows up to 6-8 feet tall. It is native to China and is found in woodlands and hedgerows. It has fragrant, pale lilac flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer.
