Ligustrum compactum (also called Compact Privet, among many other common names) is a shrub native to eastern Asia. It is a low-growing plant, typically reaching heights of up to 6 feet, with small, oval-shaped leaves. It is found in moist, shady habitats, such as woodlands and forests.

Cultivation and Propagation
