Description
Olax staudtii (also called Staudt's Olax, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub or small tree that grows up to 5 m tall. It is native to tropical Africa, specifically Angola, Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. It is commonly found in dry forests, woodlands, and savannas.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flower of Olax staudtii is white, with five petals and yellow anthers. The seed is a small, black, ovoid drupe. The seedlings are initially pale green, turning dark green as they mature.
