Description
Notothylas pfleidereri (also called Pfleiderer's Notothylas, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the family Metzgeriaceae. It is a small, dark green, thallose liverwort with a smooth, glossy surface. It is native to the temperate regions of Europe, North Africa, and Asia, and is found in moist, shady habitats.
Cultivation and Propagation
Notothylas pfleidereri can be propagated by spores or by division of the plant. Cultivation is best done in a moist, shaded environment with a pH of 4.5-6.5. It prefers a substrate of soil, sand, and peat moss.
