Notothylas himalayensis (also called Himalayan Notothylas, among many other common names) is a small, perennial, thalloid liverwort. It is found in tropical regions of the world, such as South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. It typically grows on moist, shady, acidic soil, such as in forests, on tree trunks, and on rocks.
