Nothofagus dodecaphleps (also called 'Wild Beech', 'Dodecaphleps Beech' and 'Dodecaphleps', among many other common names) is a deciduous tree that typically grows up to about 20 m tall and has a dense, rounded crown. It is native to India and Sri Lanka, and is found in deciduous forests, dry scrub and grasslands.
