                            Myrcianthes fajardensis (also called Fajardo's myrcianthes, among many other common names) is a species of flowering shrub in the family Myrtaceae. It is native to the Atlantic Forest biome of Brazil. It typically grows in wet forests, at elevations of up to 1,000 metres (3,300 ft).                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Myrcianthes fajardensis is used as an ornamental plant in gardens, and its leaves are used to make a tea that is believed to have medicinal properties. The leaves are also used to make a dye for fabrics.

                            Myrcianthes fajardensis has small, white flowers and small, black seeds.                             Myrcianthes fajardensis is a shrub or small tree native to Puerto Rico. It can be propagated from seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining soil mix and kept moist. Cuttings should be taken from semi-hardwood and rooted in a moist, well-draining soil mix.
