Description

Backhousia bancroftii (also called Bancroft's Ironwood, among many other common names) is an evergreen tree native to the coastal regions of eastern Australia. It has a dense, upright habit and grows to a height of 25 meters. Its leaves are oval-shaped and glossy green in color, and its white flowers are fragrant and star-shaped. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun or partial shade.
