Description
Knema riangensis (also called Riang Nutmeg, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the family Myristicaceae. It is a small tree, growing up to 10 m tall, with a trunk up to 40 cm in diameter. It is native to tropical regions of India, Sri Lanka, and the Andaman Islands. It is found in evergreen forests, at elevations of up to 1500 m.

Knema riangensis has small, white flowers and small, black seeds. The seedlings have small, oval leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Knema riangensis is a tropical evergreen tree that can reach a height of up to 15 m. It is propagated by seed, and prefers a moist, well-drained soil in a sunny position. It is also tolerant of light shade and can be grown in containers.
