                        Cultivation and Propagation

Knema mixta is a slow-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach heights of up to 10 feet. It prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Propagation is done through seed, cuttings, or layering. Seeds should be sown in the spring in a cold frame or greenhouse. Cuttings should be taken in the summer and rooted in a sandy soil mix. Layering can be done in the spring or summer by bending a branch down to the ground and burying it in the soil.
