Description
Pohlia pseudodefecta (also called Pseudodefect Thread-moss, among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Bryaceae. It is a small, yellow-green moss with a prostrate habit. It is found in the Northern Hemisphere, in Europe, Asia, North America, and Greenland. It grows in moist, shady places, such as in forests, on rocks, and on the ground.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Pohlia pseudodefecta has small, yellow flowers with a white center, and its seeds are tiny and black. The seedlings are small and have a single leaf.
