Mielichhoferia pilifera (also called Mielichhoferia pilifera, among many other common names) is a species of moss native to the Himalayas, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. It is a small, tufted moss that grows in moist, shady places such as forests, roadsides, and streams.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flowers of Mielichhoferia pilifera are small and white, with a single pistil and six stamens. The seeds are small, black and triangular. The seedlings have a single stem with two to three leaves.
