Carapa procera (also called Tall Carapa, among many other common names) is a medium-sized tree native to tropical Africa. It grows up to 20 meters tall and has a trunk diameter of up to 60 cm. Its leaves are pinnate and its flowers are white and fragrant. It is found in moist, evergreen forests and along riverbanks.
