Description

Aglaia pachyphylla (also called Chinese Rice Flower, Chinese Perfume Plant and Chinese Rice Paper Plant, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Meliaceae family. It is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 10 m tall. It is native to China, Taiwan, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia. It prefers to grow in moist, shady forests.
