Description

Pterolepis trichotoma (also called 'Hairy Pterolepis', among many other common names) is a shrub native to the Atlantic Forest in Brazil. It typically grows in lowland forests at elevations between 0 and 1,000 meters. Its oval-shaped leaves are dark green and have a glossy sheen. The plant produces small, white flowers with yellow centers.
